Line-of-Duty Death Response and Memorial Planning

The Colorado Fallen Hero Foundation provides support to families of Colorado law enforcement officers, their agencies, and communities during and after a line-of-duty death. Our team of volunteers assists the fallen officer’s family and agency with every aspect of funeral and memorial planning, while respecting the needs and wishes of the family.

Our services are provided at no cost to the agency or the family.

The mission of the Colorado Fallen Hero Foundation is to honor fallen law enforcement officers, respect and support their survivors.

Detective Joseph Pollack
Detective Joseph Pollack

Joseph Andrew Pollack, age 64, of Castle Rock, Colorado passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2021. Douglas County Sheriff's Detective Joe Pollack, badge number 0214, died from complications due to COVID. Det. Pollack spent 20 years with NYPD, retiring as a sergeant. He spent 19 years with the Douglas County Sheriff's Office, assigned to the Special Investigations Unit. He is survived by his wife and three children.
