Colorado Fallen Hero Foundation Gala

The Gala is the Colorado Fallen Hero Foundation’s most important fundraiser of the year — an evening dedicated to honoring the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our communities, and to supporting the families and agencies they leave behind.

When a law enforcement officer is killed in the line of duty, the loss is immediate, heartbreaking, and life-changing. In addition to overwhelming grief, agencies are often faced with funeral and memorial expenses that can exceed $55,000 and require the coordination of hundreds of personnel. Many departments simply do not have the financial resources available for these unforeseen costs, and some are restricted from using agency funds for funeral expenses.

That is when the Colorado Fallen Hero Foundation answers the call.

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization made up of Colorado law enforcement officers and civilian personnel who volunteer their time and hearts to stand beside agencies and families during their darkest moments. We help ensure fallen heroes receive the honor, dignity, and tribute they deserve, while providing comfort and support to the loved ones left behind.

But our mission does not end after the funeral.

The Foundation continues to walk alongside surviving families, helping create special moments and lasting memories their fallen officer would have shared with them — birthdays, holidays, graduations, family experiences, and milestones that carry both joy and heartbreak. These moments become treasured reminders that their loved one’s legacy lives on.
